The NYPD 10-13 Club of Charlotte, NC is an IRS non-profit 501 (c) (7) organization open to all active and retired law enforcement officers.

10-13 is the New York City Police Department
Radio Code Signal for “Assist Police Officer”

The NYPD 10-13 Club of Charlotte, NC was formed in March 2007 with 35 members with the following objectives:

  • Supporting and aiding its members and other active and retired law enforcement personnel.
  • Further the welfare and improve the benefits of all retired police officers of the NYC Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.
  • Encourage social, charitable, educational, benevolent and fraternal activities among the membership.

The NYPD 10-13 Club of Charlotte, NC currently has 235 members, 185 of which are from the New York Police Department.

Other members have served in the FBI, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and various law enforcement agencies in the United States.

There are twenty-eight 10-13 Clubs throughout the country.
